Seven years ago we found a piece of paradise in the foothills of the Illawarra escarpment. “La Luna” is a small, steep property on the south Coast of New South Wales. Its hillsides are mostly covered by rocks and rainforest, but we have been able to plant some shady clearings with tea, herbs and vegetables.

We have tended all our planted areas using organic principles. We do not have an organic certification at this stage, but our soil and plant care is completely chemical free.

We harvest all our plants, fruits, berries and nuts by hand, and process them in the Witch’s Kitchen to make delicious teas and preserves.

La Luna is a haven for wildlife. We are routinely visited by swamp wallabies, wombats, echidnas, pythons, snakes and lyre birds, not to mention a mob of marauding kangaroos.
